It is possible to calculate mechanical constants! A tablet PC has been adopted, making operations easier.
The "Sonic Viewer 2i" is a device that uses ultrasound to measure the propagation time of drilling cores and rock samples with high precision, and to determine their P-wave and S-wave velocities. A sample is placed between two matched oscillators, and a high-voltage pulse is applied to one oscillator to generate ultrasound, while the other oscillator receives the waves propagating through the sample. This data is rapidly converted to digital format and displayed as waveform data on a display, allowing for the propagation time to be read with high accuracy from the waveform. 【Features】 ■ Accurate reading of P-wave and S-wave propagation times from waveform data ■ Improved signal-to-noise ratio through digital stacking functionality ■ Easy operation with the use of a tablet PC ■ Data can be easily copied to a USB memory from the operation menu ■ Built-in functionality to calculate dynamic Poisson's ratio, dynamic shear modulus, and dynamic elastic modulus *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
