The gearboxes installed in wind turbines use gear oil, but due to the constant splashing of oil, oxidation degradation is very severe. On the walls of the gearbox, there is a layer of oxidized substances more than 1mm thick, and oxidized substances also adhere to the gear tooth surfaces. The oxidized oil has a viscosity similar to that of glue, causing it to stick to metal wear particles, leading to troubles and damage to components. To replace the oil in the gearbox, a truck crane is required, which incurs significant costs. However, performing maintenance can result in substantial damage. EDC removes oil-related contaminants generated during operation and maintains oil quality stability. It is a unique oil purification device that can reduce the burden on equipment.
