Miyaso originally manufactured buttons in Tanabe City for 100 years, but during the manufacturing process, nearly half of the materials were discarded as "punching waste." Therefore, we considered how to reuse this waste and conducted extensive research, ultimately succeeding in developing technology for its reuse. Coincidentally, in 1995, the "Container and Packaging Recycling Law" was enacted, but local governments were struggling with the disposal of collected PET bottles. In collaboration with the Wakayama Prefectural Industrial Technology Center, we established a chemical recycling technology for PET bottles, applying the button waste reuse technology. Currently, we handle the processing of PET bottles from many local governments. We also provide consulting and sales for factory wastewater treatment systems, sell septic tanks, and sell and install household and commercial disposers. We hope to further contribute to social and environmental issues through the recycling of PET bottles.
