basic information
【Production Process】 1. Calculate shrinkage and draw accurate plans (patterns). 2. Use the pattern to outline the design on a clay board, cut it with a knife, and create one-third of the surface. 3. Attach the side surfaces to the completed surface. At this time, all joining surfaces should be scored with a carving tool and moistened with a brush to make them soft. The back surface is attached using the same process as the front surface. 4. Add patterns such as clouds to the surface and shape the overall form with clay. 5. Once it reaches a suitable hardness, finish it with a spatula. 6. Drying (for large demon tiles) should be done in a room with no airflow, covering and uncovering with cloth, and periodically turning it over. This process takes about a month, carefully drying from the center of the demon tile outward. 7. Fire at a high temperature of around 1,130 degrees. For large demon tiles, it takes more than 2 to 3 months from the start of production until they come out of the kiln. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
