Dehydration is possible with inorganic coagulant solution 1! Here is an example of how disposal costs for dehydrated cakes have been reduced.
We would like to introduce a case study of a dewatering machine for surplus sludge from biological treatment that was implemented at a certain food factory. The company was considering replacing their existing dewatering machine due to its aging and was facing issues such as "high running costs due to the use of two types of polymer coagulants (cationic and anionic)." After conducting interviews with the customer and performing dewatering tests, we proposed the 'CS type (single cloth type)'. After implementation, the amount of coagulant used was significantly reduced, and the decrease in moisture content also led to a reduction in disposal costs for the dewatered cake. 【Case Overview】 ■ Issues - High running costs due to the use of two types of polymer coagulants (cationic and anionic) - High moisture content in the dewatered cake, resulting in high disposal costs ■ Proposed Model: CS type (single cloth type) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

basic information
【Problem Solving】 ■ The single-layer cloth type allows for dewatering with inorganic coagulant solution, significantly reducing the cost of coagulants. ■ The single-layer cloth type tends to have a lower moisture content compared to the multi-disc type. ■ The CS type can reuse the filtrate as wash water, so the amount of fresh water needed for replenishment is not significantly different from the multi-disc type. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
