[Underfloor Heating Construction Case] PTC Pokara - Underfloor Heating Installation at Nursery, Nihonmatsu City, Fukushima Prefecture

This is a case study of construction from Pokara, which has many orders from nurseries.

The construction areas will be the entrance, hall, corridor, and the nursery room that also serves as a lunchroom and nap room. Since the nursery room will transition from accommodating infants to children aged 1 to 2 years, both electric floor heating and hot water floor heating were considered, resulting in the adoption of "Pokara." The deciding factor was that among electric systems, the PTC type heats up quickly (from the moment the switch is turned on), reaching 25 degrees on the surface of the flooring in just 30 minutes. With hot water systems, it takes several hours to warm up, especially during the period from December to February, which is why "Pokara" was chosen.
