Proposal to replace with a spring vibration isolation device! Introducing case studies on solid noise countermeasures for air conditioning outdoor units.
We would like to introduce a case study on measures to address solid noise (noise) from air conditioning outdoor units. An air conditioning outdoor unit installed on the rooftop of an office building was generating solid noise on the floor directly below when it entered defrost mode. Although the outdoor unit was equipped with rubber pads for vibration isolation, the performance of the rubber pads was insufficient, allowing vibrations from the outdoor unit to be transmitted to the building structure, causing solid noise on the floor below. As a countermeasure, we proposed replacing it with a spring vibration isolation device.
