The "IP500APP" is an IP transceiver application set manufactured by Icom. It is sold as a bundle with the Kyocera Android smartphone "DuraForcePRO." Similar to Icom's conventional IP radios, it allows for real-time simultaneous calls anywhere in Japan as long as you are within the coverage area of the docomo 3G/LTE network. You can send voice by tapping and holding the call button displayed on the app screen. The DuraForcePRO is equipped with a PTT button on the side of the device, allowing you to make calls while using other apps such as the GPS location management screen or a web browser. No license application or personal qualifications are required, and the dedicated app can be downloaded for free; however, you will need login information that can be obtained when contracting with the retailer to use the app. It is recommended for use in scenarios where field personnel frequently communicate using the IP radio unit, while office personnel can use the application for instructions and situation confirmations.
