Field Club Co., Ltd. introduces a case study of the smoking area constructed at the "Hakobiba," a mixed-use commercial facility located on the premises of the Rajent Stay Hakodate Ekimae Hotel. Several louvers have been installed in the smoking space, with sheets applied to create a trick art effect. The interior allows for the blocking of outside views thanks to the louvers, creating a relaxing space for smokers, while the exterior can be used as a photo spot for non-smokers. The design effectively gives the interior and exterior completely different characteristics. Additionally, by being used as a photo spot and shared by customers on social media, it also has an advertising aspect.
