A Czech automobile and engine manufacturer has a high noise level in their assembly plant. To transport car parts within the factory, trolleys continuously move along the concrete floor in an orderly manner. Although the floor of the hall is smooth, expansion joints made of cast iron grating are installed at regular intervals. The trolleys are equipped with wheels that leave no marks on the gray elastic solid rubber floor, but the rubber tread is relatively hard, resulting in higher rolling resistance and turning resistance, which does not provide excellent maneuverability. As a standard solution, Blickle's "ALES series" wheels, with their excellent vibration-damping properties and significant reduction in noise levels, were an ideal solution for these trolleys.
