basic information
Best Performance In simple terms, IO Industries Streams7 is designed to handle all data recording requirements for applications. Whether capturing with a single video camera in a lab or recording with 15 high-speed cameras during a rocket launch, Streams7 has the capability. However, Streams7 is more than just video recording; it provides simultaneous data recording from various streaming devices and synchronizes these data streams using computer time, GPS time, or IRIG-B time. This makes Streams7 ideal for applications where requirements often extend to recorded data from multiple cameras, GPS receivers, altimeters, and navigation equipment, such as aircraft-mounted recording systems.

Applications/Examples of results
The user interface of Streams 7 provides independent control, operational status, and data display for each device in a consistent manner. Data can be displayed instantly, in time series, or as numerical text for each device type. For video streams, this corresponds to a single frame, thumbnail sequence, and pixel values. Recordings can be started and stopped using various hardware and software triggering methods. Timing methods range from static frame rate control to variable timing control using programmable scripts. During or after recording, events of interest can be marked for quick reference, and the data management tools protect the data while providing convenient access to recordings for playback and analysis.
