A compact and lightweight wind direction sensor module with 3D wind direction detection capability and wind speed detection function.
This is a compact 3D wind direction sensor module that is small enough to be hidden by a finger, yet equipped with the capability to detect wind direction in three axes at low wind speeds, while reducing directionality. With its 3D wind direction measurement function, it can also detect backflow of contaminated or infected air. It can be utilized for airflow management in red zones and for understanding wind direction during contact with infected individuals, contributing to measures against infectious diseases such as the novel coronavirus. Additionally, it can be used for contamination management in clean rooms and manufacturing lines, as well as for air conditioning management by understanding flow direction.

- Compact, lightweight, and highly durable. - A 3-axis (3D: X-axis, Y-axis, Z-axis) wind direction sensor capable of measuring not only azimuth but also elevation angle. - Wind direction can be measured with accuracy in environments with wind speeds below 1.0 m/s. - Simultaneous measurement of 3D wind direction values and wind speed values is possible. - With a uniquely developed probe structure, elevation angle measurement accuracy can also be achieved effectively (PAT.P). - Compared to conventional products, the measurement accuracy of wind speed values has improved. - Wind speed values are available in the range of 0 to 10 m/s. - Wind direction values can be output in two formats: azimuth + elevation angle pattern and 3-axis vector values. - Set values are recorded in the built-in Flash ROM, eliminating the need for reconfiguration upon power-up. - Measurement values and other data can be output via serial signal output, with a maximum communication speed of 38,400 bps. - Periodic automatic output of measurement values is also possible.
