Convert the change in impedance to the distance between the probe and the magnetic material! It measures the position of rebar and the cover thickness.
The electromagnetic induction method for rebar detection generates a magnetic flux by passing an alternating current through an excitation coil wound in a circular shape with copper wire inside the probe. When a magnetic material such as rebar is present within the generated magnetic flux of the excitation coil, a current flows through the magnetic material, creating a magnetic flux in the material as well. As the distance between the probe and the magnetic material changes, the magnetic flux of the material also changes, causing a current to flow in the detection coil within the probe, which results in a change in the voltage of the detection coil. This change in impedance is converted into the distance between the probe and the magnetic material, allowing for the measurement of the position and cover thickness of the rebar. 【Conditions for Accurate Measurement of Rebar Situations】 ■ One rebar nearby ■ One rebar within a wide pitch in the magnetic flux ■ One rebar within the range of the magnetic flux *For more details, please refer to the related link page or feel free to contact us.

Company information
Radar Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd. is the only investigation and exploration company in Japan that possesses knowledge and correct usage methods for almost all exploration devices available in Japan, including new products. We hold overwhelming technical knowledge in electromagnetic wave radar methods and electromagnetic induction methods, as well as expertise in exploration equipment and field experience at a remarkably high level as engineers. Since our establishment, we have conducted investigations and explorations of concrete structures not only for large-scale earthquake disaster responses but also for aging deterioration measures, providing services that ensure the safety and security of homes and infrastructure through non-destructive testing focused on the exploration of embedded objects in concrete structures. Our engineers and sales representatives, who have worked for a long time as both manufacturers and agents of rebar exploration devices, underground embedded object exploration devices, and electromagnetic induction rebar exploration devices, have grown by actively engaging in the most challenging exploration cases while learning specialized knowledge and usage methods from various manufacturers' exploration equipment. Additionally, leveraging the network we have built over many years, we also handle the rental of non-destructive testing equipment and conduct training sessions on equipment operation. Our goal is to provide "careful and cautious exploration with accuracy" by utilizing our high level of technology and experience. Please do not hesitate to contact us for important and challenging exploration work.
