"Calcium Buster" is a product developed to dissolve calcium carbonate that has deposited on ink rollers and remove it by washing it away while encapsulating it with water added during the cleaning process. In recent years, as the neutralization of printing paper has progressed, printing troubles caused by calcium carbonate leaching from the paper have become frequent. The calcium carbonate leached into the dampening water deposits on the ink rollers, preventing oil from adhering and worsening ink transfer. This results in a state similar to glaze due to the non-absorbent effect of the dampening water, which cannot be removed even with ink roller cleaning agents or glaze treatment agents.
