We would like to introduce a case study of Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd., which adopted Nord-Lock products. In the company, some bolts used in the compressor and turbine sections of the M7A gas turbine were secured with wire locks as a means to prevent loosening. There were challenges as the effectiveness of the loosening prevention depended on the skill of the workers, leading to low work efficiency. Additionally, there was a risk of wire breakage during operation due to insufficient tightening of the wire. Therefore, we adopted our "Nord-Lock washers."
