Benefits and considerations of introducing a PPA model for self-consumption solar power generation.

Introducing five benefits of implementing a PPA model for self-consumption solar power generation, along with important considerations when adopting the PPA model!

If you are considering introducing a self-consumption solar power generation system, you may have come across the term "PPA model." PPA stands for "Power Purchase Agreement," which means that electricity generated from a specific solar power facility can be purchased directly, with a sales contract established between the electricity seller and the buyer. Currently, in Japan, various issues have prevented the realization of PPA, leading to its operation as a "PPA model." In this column, we will introduce the benefits of implementing the PPA model for self-consumption solar power generation and the points to consider when adopting the PPA model.
