Koshigaya Kasei Kogyo Co., Ltd. faced challenges with heatstroke prevention for employees every year, as temperatures in the factory exceeded 35 degrees Celsius during the summer. However, they found the powerful spot air conditioner "Spot Bazooka" on their website. In mid-July 2018, they borrowed a demo unit for one week and tested it in the extreme heat of the factory. The cool, dry air reached far and was very well received by the employees, leading to the decision to implement it. By attaching a flexible duct of the same size as the indoor unit's blower, duct resistance was reduced, allowing a large volume of cool air to be supplied throughout the factory, and the direction of the airflow could be easily adjusted.
