Water treated with magnetic processing using a polarizer causes softening and dissolution of scale. A polarizer model "PI-15(15A)" was installed in the test equipment to investigate the softening and dissolution outflow of scale in the test pipe. Comparing before the use of the polarizer and 2.5 months after its use, it was found that softening and dissolution of the scale occurred. It is considered that it may take a considerable amount of time to remove scale solely with the polarizer, so while the primary purpose is to prevent scale adhesion, it is believed that it does not have the rapid effectiveness of chemical cleaning for removing adhered scale, but it can prevent scale buildup inside the pipes.
