Kanata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is a domestic sofa and interior manufacturing company that began with the production of rattan furniture from its predecessor, Kaneda Manufacturing, founded in 1927. During the war, the company also produced seats for fighter planes, showcasing its high level of technology cultivated over many years. In 1968, the company changed its name to Kanata Manufacturing and established the "SWITCH" business in 1999. To this day, it continues to value the essence of SWITCH while carefully crafting furniture through each step of the process. We offer a wide variety of interior products, including living room items such as sofas and coffee tables, dining room items like chairs and dining tables, as well as shelves, coat racks, and various small items. While we have standard sizes available, we also possess the flexibility to accommodate custom sizes and detailed modifications based on those standards. We can also reupholster and repair sofas and chairs from other manufacturers. Additionally, we are developing a contract business that helps enhance the presentation of products in stores, accepting not only modifications to ready-made items but also full custom orders.
