The FerroScan PS300 is a concrete detector that estimates the position of rebar, cover thickness, and rebar diameter in structural analysis. The FerroScan PS300 is positioned as a cutting-edge exploration device. The results of rebar detection in concrete are displayed on a large 12.7 cm (5-inch) touchscreen, allowing for rebar detection and position analysis to be conducted in a single field survey. By importing the exploration data into Hilti's PROFIS Detection software on a computer, more detailed analysis and data sharing between various formats can be performed. Exploration results and analysis reports can be generated with a single click. <High-frequency, high-density exploration with multiple sensors> Thanks to Hilti's unique sensor arrangement, which consists of five independent sensors lined up in series, 15 cm wide scan data can be obtained in a single exploration. When the scanner, which incorporates these sensors, is scanned, it can collect exploration data over a width of 15 cm and a maximum distance of 50 meters in one go. The FerroScan PS300 is capable of acquiring high-density, extensive scan data in a short amount of time.

It enables image processing of detection data, comparison with an internal database, output of rebar diagrams and statistical data, creation of annotations with text/photos, and plotting of drilling locations for hammer drills and diamond cores. It can display the rebar condition of walls and floor slabs in 3D. Furthermore, data can be transferred to a computer for creating technical reports or for placement in CAD/BIM models.
