We would like to introduce a case study of the network-type digital tachograph "DTS-C1" implemented at Sakai Daiichi Kanko Co., Ltd., which operates chartered sightseeing tours and provides transportation for student expeditions. The company had been using Fujitsu's card-type digital tachograph for eight years, and their purpose for the implementation was to promote safe driving and protect drivers and the company from complaints. Tour buses receive various complaints from customers, such as sharp turns, sudden braking, and wrong turns. Before the implementation, there was no way to prove that such incidents did not occur, but after the implementation, it became possible to confirm the operation data after the bus returned, thereby proving that such incidents did not happen.
