We would like to introduce the 'BBB Kit', an in vitro blood-brain barrier reconstruction model manufactured by PharmacoCell, which we handle. This product reconstructs the blood-brain barrier (BBB) in a cell culture plate by co-culturing three types of cells that make up the BBB. All cells are primary cultured cells isolated from the cerebral cortex of macaques or rats, and they maintain functions that closely resemble those of the in vivo BBB.
