It is possible to read multiple tags at once! We conducted experiments on non-contact power supply.
We conducted experiments on the basics of HF (shortwave) band passive RFID and non-contact power supply using electromagnetic fields. The frequency for high-frequency equipment and inductive reading and writing communication systems that exchange data with RFID tags is 13.56 MHz, but it seems that the use of lower frequency bands is being considered (standardized) for wireless power transmission systems aimed solely at power supply. The PDF document below summarizes the frequencies and characteristics of RFID.
