Since our founding in 2004, Ark has been operating with the theme "Stop! Global Warming!" as our main focus, engaging in businesses related to important infrastructure concerning environmental issues, such as solar power generation and all-electric systems. In light of the Great East Japan Earthquake and the blackouts and disasters experienced in Hokkaido, we recognize the need for further change. What we have learned from these disasters is that we must shift our perspective from viewing these issues as someone else's problem to considering them as our own. The effects of global warming are undoubtedly changing the Earth's environment. At Ark, we are committed to contributing to the development of cities that can withstand the forces of nature. As locals from Hokkaido, we love this region and want to preserve its environment. To that end, we will do our part, however small, to contribute to the overall reduction of CO2 emissions in society.
