The "AH-38" is an external antenna manufactured by Icom. It can be used for both GPS location information and calls using satellite communication via Iridium. When combined with the separately sold OPC-2113, it can be installed on the rooftop of a building for operation. The antenna part is treated with waterproofing, so it can be used without issues even in rainy weather.
