We have developed a "visible light responsive titanium dioxide nanomaterial" that reacts with high performance even under weak indoor lighting!
In the development of indoor high-performance titanium dioxide, there was a significant issue that needed to be resolved. The oxidation and reduction reactions (opposite reactions) were occurring simultaneously on the surface of the photocatalyst, leading to a substantial decrease in performance due to the reverse reaction. Furthermore, the photocatalytic effect could only be activated by ultraviolet light, rendering it ineffective under indoor lighting. In response, a research team led by Professor Yokono began developing next-generation titanium dioxide materials that can exhibit photocatalytic functions under indoor light (such as LED light sources) that contains no ultraviolet rays. They developed "visible light-responsive titanium dioxide nanomaterials" that perform highly efficiently even under weak indoor lighting. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
