The "SSM-58ASA" is an earphone microphone made by Yaesu Musen (Standard Horizon). It can be used in combination with Yaesu Musen's specific low-power transceivers and digital simple radio registered stations. The microphone sensitivity can be switched between three levels. By setting the sensitivity to Low, it becomes a talk-type (directional) microphone. The included earphone is detachable and replaceable. A 360-degree rotating belt clip that can be attached to the chest is included on the back of the microphone.
