【Production Examples】 ■ Kurotani Washi Calendar (Black color from Kozo charcoal) - As part of a joint research project with Kyoto Prefectural University, the discarded core parts of Kozo were turned into charcoal and transformed into ink for printing the calendar. ■ Shimogamo Shrine Calendar (Gold color mixed with Aoi leaves) - Leaves of Aoi and Katsura, used in the attire for the Aoi Matsuri, were dried and crushed to create ink for the production of the calendar.
