[Developed Product] Model 3401EC with Easy Close Mechanism (EC)

We are developing the model 3401EC, which features an easy close mechanism (EC) for the heavy-duty model 3401.

The evaluation tests for the functionality of this model have been completed, and we are making final preparations for mass production. We plan to ship sample products made with molds around March next year. ■Product Benefits There are advantages for relatively heavy load (around 80kg) unit storage, such as in financial terminals. When storing the unit with strong force, a strong impact occurs on the unit and the main body before it is completely closed. As a result, this can negatively affect other devices and components on the main body side. The 3401EC softens the impact with a shock absorber just before it completely closes, and it gently pulls the unit in from that position. Additionally, if it is closed quietly, a light push is all that is needed for the spring to pull it in and close softly and quietly. As a result, the frequency of replacing parts affected by impacts is reduced, leading to overall cost reduction. This product is planned to be offered as standard items, with even-numbered part numbers ranging from 20 (slide length 508mm) to 30 (same length 762mm). ■The official Japan AccuRide YouTube channel has been launched!
