The "GZD4000" is a switching mode DC stabilized power supply manufactured by Daiichi Denpa Kogyo. It is used when operating a vehicle-mounted radio as a base station with a DC12V power supply. It features LED digital meters for voltage and current, making it easier to read in the dark or at night. The DC current is capable of a continuous output of 35A with a maximum output of 40A. It has tough durability and can continuously output the rated output current. Equipped with an overvoltage protection circuit that prevents damage due to circuit load when overvoltage is detected, it can prevent damage from lightning strikes and other causes. It also has a forced air cooling fan to dissipate heat from the main unit.
