This product is made by impregnating an isothermal blanket with a colloidal inorganic binder and keeping it in a plastic bag to maintain a moist condition.
*Take it out of the bag when using it.* 1. When dried or fired, it becomes a lightweight, surface-hardened, elastic insulation material. 2. It can be cut into the necessary shapes with a utility knife or similar tool and applied even in complex junctions where regular furnace materials are difficult to use. 3. Since it hardens when dried, you can take it out of the bag and shape it into your desired form, such as flat plates or cylinders, while it is still soft, and then dry it to create ceramic fiber boards. 4. Due to its property of being resistant to leakage of molten metals, it can also be used as an inner lining for transport ducts of aluminum and zinc.
