Isolite refractory insulation brick
This is a special-purpose ultra-high alumina refractory insulating brick developed using our unique technology.
Made from alumina bubbles with an Al₂O₃ content of 99%, it has the following properties: - High erosion resistance against acidic and basic slags - High spalling resistance BAL-99 has a high resistance to strongly reducing gases such as H₂ gas, while BAL-99M has high strength and excellent volume stability at high temperatures. BAL-LS is a product designed to minimize the scattering of impurities into the furnace during use in high-temperature, strongly reducing atmospheres.
