Introduction of a case study on the renewal of a small freight elevator used for transporting school lunches at T Elementary School (complete removal and renovation work). On the first floor, the doors and safety devices (limit switches, door lock devices, etc.) were replaced. The floor and doors were made of stainless steel, which makes it less prone to rust and deterioration even when hot pots are placed on it or when water droplets adhere, allowing for long-term cleanliness and hygiene. Additionally, on the second floor, the doors, limit switches, and door lock devices were replaced. The inner door was renewed from a safety bar to an up-and-down opening door, making it easier to open and close, and preventing items from falling through the gap of the safety bar.
