This is a slatted bed made from thinned cypress wood. The cypress from Kochi Prefecture has a pinkish wood grain that is beautiful, and its unique fragrance is also highly regarded.
Since the slats are general-purpose products, manufacturing capacity is required. By consistently procuring raw timber, we produce 350,000 slats annually. Our unique strength is our stable production capacity, and since we manufacture domestically, we are not affected by any overseas situations. By using small logs specific to thinned timber, there are many knots, but it is also characterized by the fact that these knots are alive. Unlike other companies that use large logs, we do not produce materials that are knot-free, but this is a characteristic of thinned timber and an important product that promotes the healthy growth of forests.

basic information
Because we carry out everything from logging in the mountains to the manufacturing and sales of products in a consistent manner, we can provide a stable supply of products at appropriate prices. Our drying capability and technology are particularly rare in the country, as we possess large-scale drying equipment for medium temperature ranges, allowing us to adequately control the moisture content in the wood while retaining the original color and fragrance of the cypress. While natural drying may sound appealing, some products may not be fully dried, leading to mold or insect issues. By ensuring thorough drying, we can guarantee the stability of product quality. Additionally, while the heat sources typically used for drying may include heavy oil, our company utilizes 100% biomass derived from wood. We effectively utilize the bark that comes off when peeling the logs and the offcuts generated during the lumber processing. All of our products are made by maximizing the use of natural resources.

Company information
With the motto of "Revitalizing the mountain business and the community," we conduct a consistent production process from forestry to lumber, product assembly, and sales. In the manufacturing and sales of wooden household goods and construction materials, we take pride in our domestic hinoki (Japanese cypress) slats, which are particularly popular in home centers and hold the number one market share in Japan. Additionally, in the field of construction materials, we also manufacture CLT (Cross-Laminated Timber), a structural material widely used in Europe for building structures as an alternative to reinforced concrete.
