However, this non-combustible wood has issues such as the powdering phenomenon where fire retardants precipitate on the wood surface, which can reduce non-combustibility and, depending on the usage scenario, damage the appearance. One of the features of the fire barrier is that it does not cause the powdering phenomenon on the surface even after being impregnated and dried into wood or plywood.
