The difference is minus 23°C! We measured the temperature changes in the attic space before and after painting.
This is an introduction to a case study conducted using the heat-insulating and heat-reflective paint "Luminastar," which keeps you warm in winter and cool in summer just by applying it. This time, the application was done on the roof of a three-story wooden house located in Higashi-Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture. We measured the temperature changes in the attic space and the indoor temperature of the third floor (without air conditioning) before and after the Luminastar application. As a result, the maximum attic temperature during the day before the application exceeded 60°C, while after the application, it reached a maximum of 38°C, showing a difference of minus 23°C. [Case Overview] - Location: Roof of a three-story wooden house in Higashi-Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture - Method: Installed HIOKI temperature loggers in the attic and on the third floor to measure temperature - Measurement Period: July 8 to August 2 *For more details, please refer to the external link page or feel free to contact us.
