Here is an example of proposing the use of all cardboard as materials for heavy item shipping boxes. Since it is cardboard, we received customer feedback asking, "Is the durability okay?" Therefore, we conducted drop tests to guarantee and provide sufficient durability. By making design change proposals to use cardboard materials in this way, we were able to offer customers the benefits of reducing material costs while maintaining durability.
