Rubber sponge is a material made by mixing a foaming agent with rubber, creating a porous structure through the gas generated by the thermal decomposition of the foaming agent. The individual chambers that are independent of each other are referred to as closed cells (independent bubbles). Closed cells have extremely low water absorption, excellent shock absorption, processability, and buoyancy, making them suitable for a wide range of applications.
