Greening of difficult-to-manage central reservations! Drought-resistant low-maintenance ground cover.
"TANIKA" is an evergreen ground cover characterized by its slender leaves that sway in the wind. It is drought-resistant and heat-tolerant, making it widely adopted in various challenging locations such as single-family homes, private green spaces, parks, and even central medians. It is shipped in a 15.0 cm pot (with a reference leaf spread of 20 cm), and when fully grown, it reaches a height of 60 to 70 cm. However, due to its fine leaves, the grass softens and droops from about 50 cm upwards, maintaining a consistent height. In early summer, it produces small orange flowers, but since it does not bear fruit (it is sterile), it contributes to the maintenance of biodiversity in planted areas. **Features** - An evergreen herbaceous plant native to Australia - A robust plant suitable for planting in difficult-to-manage locations - Maintains its height, allowing for beautiful foliage year-round - Less prone to drooping in winter - Does not bear fruit, contributing to biodiversity **Uses** - Central medians that are difficult to manage - Accent planting in single-family homes - Rock gardens combined with rocks or gravel - Planting to secure green space - Ground cover to highlight other plantings - Alternative species to Carex types
