"EX-DRY" is a high-performance desiccant (moisture absorber) that serves as an alternative to inorganic adsorbent desiccants like silica gel. Due to its high moisture absorption capacity, it addresses humidity-related issues such as rust, mold, and condensation across various industries. ◆Examples of adoption in the apparel industry◆ □Purpose: Preventing mold on clothing imported from overseas sewing factories □Concern: While silica gel and mold inhibitors are used to prevent mold on clothing, silica gel is not very effective and its benefits are hard to perceive. Mold inhibitors emit a distinctive odor that clings to the clothing. □Solution: When packaging clothing together in cartons, we recommend wrapping them with inexpensive PE film and placing one EX-DRY inside the film. By sealing it and enclosing it in the carton, it became possible to prevent mold during import without using desiccants or mold inhibitors for each individual product.
