A case study on the introduction of solar-powered bio-toilets to mountain cabins!
Our bio-toilet has been adopted by a mountain lodge. Previously, there was a chair in the toilet room where a plastic bag could be set, and it operated on a "take your own waste back with you" system. However, there were people who left their waste behind or discarded it on the hiking trails, which caused difficulties. To address this, solar panels were installed on the lodge's roof, and our bio-toilet "Violet BT-L" (capable of up to 40 uses per day) was introduced. Although there was some confusion about how to use it at first, they successfully navigated the hiking season from June to October and have reportedly concluded this season's operations without any issues.
