Nankai Plywood has significantly increased its performance based on a "ceiling material" that achieved top market share in Japan, realizing exceptional workability and cost performance with its groundbreaking actual shape. Now, as we enter a new era, we are inheriting that innovative spirit and challenging management innovation in the field of "storage materials." Starting from the production and procurement of raw materials in Indonesia, we carry out product manufacturing and export operations, product development, manufacturing, and sales activities within Japan, as well as nationwide transportation operations, all under a unified group system. We, the Nankai Group, create a harmonious business model for the next generation. Additionally, our group is engaged in a cyclical farming-type afforestation project as part of our CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) efforts, driven by ecological thinking that connects to the future, given our business model that heavily utilizes wood. Since 2006, we have been implementing an afforestation project utilizing fallow land on Java Island, Indonesia, leveraging the characteristics of the fast-growing leguminous tree, falcata. This sustainable system not only ensures stable resource procurement and price stabilization and creates local employment but also contributes to environmental conservation and the prevention of global warming. It minimizes damage to nature while harmonizing with both nature and humanity, without depleting precious forest resources.
