[Case Study] Optimization of Defroster Shape

Introducing a case of optimizing the shape of the defroster nozzle!

We would like to introduce a case where we applied our "modeFRONTIER" to optimize the shape of the defroster nozzle. The air conditioning in a vehicle's cabin plays a role in ensuring passenger comfort and visibility, and fluid analysis allows for the prediction of flow and temperature distribution due to warm and cool air. Regarding visibility, the goal is to eliminate fogging on the front and side windshields, for which the design of the defroster nozzle is crucial. By investigating and predicting how the flow ejected from the defroster nozzle will create a temperature distribution along the windshield surface, we can optimize the shape of the defroster while considering the fog removal pattern.
