This document explains the "lifetime of bearings." Even when rolling bearings are used correctly for a specific application, after a certain period of time, they may become unusable due to increased noise and vibration, decreased accuracy from wear, degradation of the lubricating grease, and fatigue of the rolling surfaces. The period until they can no longer be used is referred to as the broad definition of bearing lifetime, which includes terms such as acoustic lifetime, wear lifetime, grease lifetime, and rolling fatigue lifetime.
