An example of manufacturing a stopper using thermoplastic POM through machining and lathe processing.
Introduction of a case where a stopper was manufactured using machining and lathe with plastic material! Considering the characteristics of the material, we strive to accommodate requests for tolerances and distortions as much as possible.
At Takimoto Giken Kogyo, we manufacture stoppers using plastic resin materials with machining and lathes. Due to the limited width for split processing, we respond by using both lathes and machining. If machining and NC lathes take time for clamping and positioning, we will use both NC processing machines to accommodate the processing. ~Points~ In the industrial machine parts related to the automotive industry, items that require split processing may have significant variations in cost depending on the design dimensions, especially when the cutting width is large, making processing easier. Additionally, POM (Delrin, polyacetal) is a well-balanced material among engineering plastics and is often compared to MC nylon due to its cost-effectiveness. Our company manufactures from small lots and even single pieces. We also accommodate repeat orders starting from single items. Since our establishment in 1978 as a specialized processing company for plastic resins, we aim to minimize risks such as order omissions and tool breakage by responding with short delivery times to meet your requests. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Takimoto Giken Kogyo Co., Ltd. specializes in the processing of industrial plastic resins, primarily focusing on machining (industrial machine parts, jig parts, prototypes, etc.) from single units to mass production (with a track record of up to 18,000 units). In response to the high demand for short delivery times, we have made efforts to maintain a large inventory of materials, enabling us to respond quickly even when material manufacturers are closed, thus getting closer to meeting our customers' needs. Additionally, in response to the demand for "just the plastic resin material as soon as possible," we have started offering cut sales. We have also received requests for "could you also handle 6F (6-sided milling)?" and have made arrangements to accommodate that. We are committed to making efforts to meet our customers' requests, so if you have any concerns, please feel free to consult with us.
