The building itself is old, and significant deterioration had progressed. Nevertheless, in order to keep it clean for a long time, we had been conducting wall cleaning (high-pressure washing) as an annual event for our employees. However, seeing our factory getting dirty every year made me think, "It seems somewhat silly to clean it every year." This glass coating is a special type of glass that remains in liquid form at room temperature and, when dried, has properties indistinguishable from solid glass. Once applied to the building, it becomes covered with a glass film. Buildings covered with this glass film (including outdoor-installed cubicles) gain various protective functions such as dirt resistance, corrosion resistance, rust resistance, salt damage resistance, and chemical resistance. With this technology, the building has become almost completely clean, so one of our annual events (building cleaning) has been eliminated. It feels a bit lonely, but the employees seem very pleased.
