<Instructor Profile> Name: Kengo Oozono Affiliation: Someitec Engineering Office Position: Director Graduated from the Graduate School of Engineering, University of Tokyo, majoring in Material Engineering. Engaged in technology development for optical molds, liquid crystal display materials, semiconductor photomasks, touch panels, and thin films for next-generation FPDs at Toppan Printing Co., Ltd. Currently, he is the director of Someitec Engineering Office and the IR Engineer Education Research Institute. He has experience in electronic devices and semiconductor technology, including deposition, sputtering, plating, etching, photolithography/electron beam lithography, converting, and surface analysis. He has experience in thin film processes ranging from fundamental development using batch prototype machines for semiconductors to some of the world's largest inline and roll-to-roll systems. He possesses extensive knowledge in improving productivity through thin film property stabilization, reliability enhancement, micro-defect countermeasures, equipment operational rate improvement, maintenance improvement, and cost reduction. Currently, he is mainly involved in supporting various companies in the design, technology development, and marketing of thin films for various next-generation devices. Member of the Japan Association of Professional Engineers, Surface Technology Association, and Decorative Technology Research Association.
