Overlaying images from the "thermal sensor" and "optical sensor" allows for easy detection of abnormal heat and intruders.
The "MOBOTIX M16/S16 Thermal Camera" is a network camera that excels in security and equipment monitoring. By simultaneously utilizing a "thermal sensor" and a "color or monochrome optical sensor," it can easily detect abnormal heat from equipment or the intrusion of suspicious individuals through the "thermal overlay function," which overlays measurement data with images. Up to 20 temperature detection areas can be set on the thermal sensor screen. By connecting to other devices, it enables IoT capabilities, such as stopping heated machinery or spraying water on heat sources. Additionally, it can be installed around the perimeter of large facilities in place of infrared sensors, recognizing objects crossing the fence with thermal imaging and confirming the situation on-site with a visible light sensor. 【Features】 ■ The lineup includes the "M16," which integrates two sensors into one unit, and the "S16," which allows for the installation of two sensors on the ground. ■ Equipped with IP66 dust and rain protection, suitable for outdoor installation. ■ Detection temperature range from -40 to 550°C (temperature resolution of 0.05°C). ■ The thermal overlay function can also be utilized for privacy protection. *For more details, please refer to the materials. MOBOTIX established a groundbreaking concept of integrating a recording system into the camera body, making it the only network camera manufacturer to do so since the early stages of product development, and has received support from many users to this day. From early on, the company focused on image analysis, equipping cameras with the ability to detect only directional movements within images and perform tasks such as people counting. It is a manufacturer that consistently provides what users seek, including a decentralized system to minimize risks associated with IP networks and low power consumption.
