Ultrasonic testing (UT testing) suitable for internal inspection of forged products and similar items.
Accurately detecting defects in metallic materials and welds of nuclear power plants that are subject to evaluation.
Ultrasonic testing is conducted using equipment composed of a pulse generator, transducer, receiver, and display unit. Ultrasonic testing (UT) is utilized to accurately detect flaws in metallic materials and welds in nuclear power plants, as well as to evaluate defects subject to maintenance standards. 【Features】 ■ Applicable for checking the internal conditions of metal welds, forged products, etc. ■ Capable of detecting straightforward surface flaws (such as cracks) in the direction of ultrasonic propagation ■ Coarse-grained materials (austenitic mesh, castings) and lead are not permitted *For more details, please contact us or download the PDF for further information.

basic information
The probe emits and receives ultrasonic waves on the surface of the test specimen. If there are no defects in the specimen, the ultrasonic waves that propagate inside will reflect off the bottom surface and the received waves (called echoes) will return. However, if there are internal defects or foreign objects, the echoes reflected from those will be detected.
