I want to brighten and colorfully enhance wooden products used in interiors and everyday life!
Dyed wood - Nakamura Tsukiita - is color wood where dye is pressure-infused into the wood, allowing the color to penetrate deep within the material. The dyes used are harmless to humans and are safe for use, as they are also employed in Kyoto dyeing. The main types of wood used are beech and cypress. Beech is suitable for wood carving and three-dimensional processing, while cypress is better for flat processing, so the choice depends on the intended use. In recent years, due to the growing global interest in natural environmental protection, the supply of precious woods has become increasingly difficult worldwide. Currently, strict restrictions are imposed on logging and export of timber in many countries. Particularly, it has become challenging to obtain unique woods with distinctive colors, such as ebony, teak, and African woods. In response, our company is focusing on research and development to dye domestic woods like cypress, cedar, and beech to use as alternatives. Our motto at Nakamura Tsukiita Co., Ltd. is to brighten and colorfully enhance items used in interiors and daily life with the desire to "IRODORITAI"!

basic information
1. Dyed Veneer Dyed natural wood veneer (0.2mm to 1.5mm thick) is treated by injecting dye under vacuum pressure, resulting in minimal color unevenness and a beautifully dyed finish. It can be widely used as decorative material for interiors, woodworking, DIY, and more. 2. Dyed Veneer Decorative Board Dyed veneer is bonded to a substrate (MDF, plywood, washi paper, etc.) as a decorative material, allowing for the creation of a highly varied decorative board with combinations of veneer colors and arrangements, such as checkerboard patterns and stripes. This was not possible with traditional veneer decorative boards. 3. Dyed Laminated Veneer This material is made by laminating dyed veneer. The end grain features layers that resemble a mille-feuille, which is a significant characteristic. Since the veneer is dyed and the color penetrates deep into the wood, it retains its color regardless of where it is cut or how much it is sanded. It is ideal for model guns, hand grips, and other sporting goods. 4. Wood Dyeing We also accept dye injection processing for thick wood materials, such as lumber. However, the degree of dye penetration into the wood can vary greatly depending on factors such as wood species, length, thickness, specific gravity, grain orientation, moisture content, and various other conditions.
